Job Description

Are you excited to work with cutting-edge network security systems? Join Akamai’s Enterprise Security Team, which builds and delivers zero-trust security solutions for enterprise customers. We focus on providing segmentation and threat protection using Akamai's global Intelligent Edge Platform, mitigating threats like ransomware, phishing, DNS data exfiltration, and advanced zero-day attacks.

As a Software Engineer (DevOps), you will contribute to building Akamai's Zero Trust platform. You will work in a collaborative environment to develop industry-leading security features, making a global impact across enterprises, applications, users, and workloads.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical and product innovation, implement proof of concepts, analyze systems, and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams in an Agile environment for code and design reviews.
• Build new dashboards for monitoring Kubernetes clusters and vulnerabilities on the cloud.
• Work closely with the development team to enhance new releases.
• Coordinate and participate in customer installations and demos.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in software development, coding in Python or Golang.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Kubernetes, and Argo CD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.
