DevOps Engineer Intern - Pune, Maharashtra

Job Responsibilities
Assist in managing and administering a variety of AWS services.
Support the documentation and implementation of AWS architecture and provision infrastructure.
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises servers.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment, performance, and security issues.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment.
Stay updated with industry trends and DevOps best practices.
Administer Linux systems and troubleshoot workstation issues on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
Determine organizational network and system requirements and execute appropriate setups.
Maintain VPNs, DNS, Active Directory, VLANs, and ACLs on network switches and routers.
Install, upgrade, and repair network hardware and software as needed.
Ensure network and computer system security, including regular troubleshooting and maintenance.
Add users to networks, update security permissions, and ensure efficient workstation connectivity.
Administer infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, and malware protection.
Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies for all systems.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Linux and Linux concepts.
Knowledge of networks, gateways, DNS, DHCP, and WAN.
Experience in operating system installation (Windows, MacOSX, Linux Ubuntu).
Troubleshooting skills for workstation and WiFi connectivity issues.
Basic understanding of Active Directory.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript).
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Advanced knowledge of networking, subnets, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Expertise in networking and monitoring tools.
Advanced understanding of Active Directory and federated authentication.
Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins and CI/CD processes.
